Charles has died. He was a monumental figure in philosophy and a kind and generous friend to me. A devastating loss.

The photo below was taken in Berlin during The Emancipation Conference weekend in May 2018. Charles and I ate breakfast together in the hotel restaurant on every day of the conference.
