As reported by Daily Nous, The Philosopher’s Annual — “The list aims to ‘select the ten best articles published in philosophy each year—an attempt as simple to state as it is admittedly impossible to fulfill'”– has announced its selections.

This is the question that I posed to Sergio Tenenbaum (one of the editors/judges in the competition) in a comment on the Daily Nous post. The comment was deleted by the owner of the blog, Justin Weinberg:

“Hi Sergio, would you mind explaining why you think it is OK to participate on a male-dominated editorial board which includes at least one eugenicist and an editor of The Journal of Controversial Ideas and, furthermore, why philosophers should regard it as an accomplishment to be recognized by this group?”

If I get a response from Professor Tenenbaum or any of the other judges in this esteemed competition, I will report it here.
