Foucault, Feminist Philosophy of Disability, Pacific APA, and Wordgathering

In January, I posted some thoughts about writing my book Foucault and Feminist Philosophy of Disability, noting that these ruminations were preliminary ideas that would take shape in the response that I give in the symposium on the book at the upcoming Pacific APA. Michael Northen, editor of Wordgathering: A Journal of Disability Poetry and Literature, an online, open access journal of writing about disability, read the post shortly after it appeared on BIOPOLITICAL PHILOSOPHY and wrote to request permission to reprint it in the then-next issue of the journal.

The issue of Wordgathering, in which my (draft) essay is included, is now online here.

A final version of my APA response to commentators on my book will appear in a book symposium in a future issue of Feminist Philosophy Quarterly.
