In the past week, two very positive reviews of Foucault and Feminist Philosophy of Disability have appeared (well, if they appeared before last week, I was unaware that they had been published). I was happy to read that, for the most part, the two reviews focus on and draw out disparate aspects of the book. Taken together, they provide a fairly comprehensive portrait of the book.
Catherine Clune-Taylor’s review of the book appears in the latest issue of the APA Newsletter on Feminism and Philosophy here: https://cdn.ymaws.com/www.apaonline.org/resource/collection/D03EBDAB-82D7-4B28-B897-C050FDC1ACB4/FeminismV19n1.pdf?fbclid=IwAR0T6LkumI7aU8MiH-5DaUqsX_10-oCzW5X6d8bG8TeAGLdbqWoxqaCsx1o
Josh Dohman’s review of the book in HRO: Hypatia Reviews Online appears here: https://www.hypatiareviews.org/reviews/content/418
I hope that these reviews will convince more feminist and other philosophers and theorists to both read/listen to the book and begin to address their own ableism and the ableism of philosophy.

There will also be a review forthcoming from IJFAB. I’m not the reviews editor anymore so I don’t know when it will appear, but it is coming!
